SORBA (Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association) is a member-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit, officially chartered organization devoted to promoting land access, trail preservation, and new trail development in order to enhance mountain bike touring, racing, fun, and fellowship for all mountain bicyclists in the southeastern United States. We publish the "Trail News" four times a year to keep members informed of important issues and developments in the world of mountain biking. We hold our mountain bike events to raise awareness of land access and trail maintenance, to ride, to race, and to just have fun. Membership in SORBA entitles you to some great things, come join us!
We're teaming up with IMBA to strengthen mountain bike advocacy.
SORBA and IMBA have taken a bold step to combine forces and work together to improve mountain biking in the Southeast. The two organizations have partnered to combine membership in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina & Tennessee. Members will receive special regional eNews and other great benefits. “It just made sense to work more closely together," says Tom Sauret, SORBA Executive Director. "In many cases SORBA and IMBA were duplicating services ... there are economies of scale that we can realize by working together.
Most importantly, IMBA and SORBA helps keep the trails you ride open to mountain biking.
How can we continue to be welcome on the trails in the Southeast? Join us!
