Volunteer Leaders Needed for Sope Creek Trail on Friday, May 31st

National Trails Day at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is Friday, May 31st, and they need Volunteer Leaders

150 volunteers are scheduled to work on the Sope Creek Trail in the CRNRA on Friday, May 31st. Dave Thomas, the Park Volunteer Coordinator, has asked SORBA to supply leaders for this large group of volunteers. The volunteers will be installing new maps at intersections, and blocking off paths that go around the new bike weirs in the park (pedestrians are to go through the weirs, not around them).

If you are available that Friday, please help out at the park. Email robin at sorba dot org if you're interested, and I'll pass your name and info on to the park.
