Atlanta Beltline

Gush about your favorite trails and riding areas, gripe about the bad ones, find a new spot...

Atlanta Beltline

With all this rain, I was thinking of hitting up the Atlanta Beltline this weekend. Has anybody here done the complete loop? How easy is it to follow. Is it worth hitting up? Where is the best spot to park on the Eastside, Hwy 78?

Got a new bike last week and have not been able to really ride it yet. Wishing all this rain would stop for a little while.

I wouldnt count on the unpaved sections of the Beltline to be any nicer than muddy singletrack. Before anything was paved my GF and I used to ride most of it and there were sections that had huge mud puddles that never dried out. Was still super fun in the snow a the two times we were able to ride it in the slush . . .
