We'll meet at the Bull Mtn parking lot at 9:00 a.m.
We will have the USFS ditch witch as well as a private individual with a Dingo and will continue to work on the Bull Mtn. trail, grading and working to get the water off the trail to stop the erosion. We'll need two ground crews to help finish the trail behind the machines.
We also need to add more gravel to the grassy paver trail entrances at 2 of the roads. If you have a truck and would like to do this (the gravel is located at the Jake Mtn parking lot), please let Debbie know so she can bring the buckets for the gravel.
If we have a sufficient number of volunteers and an extra crew leader, we'll send a work crew up the mountain to begin clearing the dips on the Whoop-Di-Do trail.
CTHA will provide tools, safety gear (hard hats), water and lunch. A helmet or Hard Hat is REQUIRED. No exception. If you don't want to wear one, thank you but please stay home.
Please wear long pants and boots and bring your own helmet (probably more comfortable than a hard hat), bug spray and gloves. If you are allergic to bees - you must bring your epi-pen. This is prime bee season.
Please RSVP by Thursday 10/31 via e-mail to Debbie Crowe at georgiacrowes22@Bellsouth.net. This is very important for lunch count and if plans change. If you gather names yourself, that's great but please then send Debbie an e-mail with your count.
VAL - are you planning to provide lunch for us this time?
The 2014 workday calendar will be coming out soon. We'll move over to the Jake Mtn trail as soon as we finish at Bull Mtn.
