This chapter is covering LaGrange and Columbus Georgia to Auburn and Opelika Alabama, located in the Chattahoochee Valley Area and will go by CVA-SORBA.
Would any trails at lakeside be appropriate for a 6 year old who wants to try mountain Biking?

not sure where you are located but i took my 7 year old to the river side at yellow river and she rode most of it with no problem. had to walk a bit at the end of some of the climbs but otherwise did great.

many roots have recently been taken out of the beginning of the easier section so I would think it should be okay for an adventurous six year old. It is by no means sidewalk smooth and flat but many younger kids should be able to handle it.
There are also the trails right in West Point at the River Park. Park by the ball fields and access to the easier trails is just behind the fields on the left side. These might be a better choice for the less adventurous six year old.
