Knolly Endorphin

Postby KevinBoyer » Thu Aug 22, 2013 3:05 pm

Just checking if anyone here on the forums is riding a Knolly Endorphin or Chilcotin. Looking to throw a leg over one if possible. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I own both but you would have to visit Fruita to ride one. I like the chilcotin but right now I would just keep the Endorphin. I think that would be a great bike for that SE as well. I currently run it with a Lyrik at 170mm and zero stack headset but I have a Pike that will be going on it. I have taken this bike on all trails around here with the Lyrik with no issues and done some dh runs at Crested butte and Winterpark with both a Lryik and Totem. This bike rocks a lot and can be 2-3 lbs lighter than the chilcotin.
WTF.

Thanks for the offer bikephan. I've decided on the Endorphin frame for sure. I've talked to Kevin from Knolly, as well as Brian from Wrench Science in CA and they have made it abundantly clear that this bike will shred here in the SE. I'm selling my Niner Jet 9 to fund this new bike. What's really nice is that the 2013 Endo frame is on sale now since the 2014's are coming around shortly, along with a new 650B frame that Kevin told me about. Just have to decide on day glo yellow, or the really nice blue one now. :)

iride,

I'm just buying the frame alone, and doing my own custom build like I've done on all my bikes. I'll probably buy the frame from Wrench Science as long as they can still get me the blue one. Brian at WS has been a wealth of great info and insight via phone conversations, and Kevin and I have been emailing back and forth. The blue frame is in very short supply right now, and they will not be running that color again in 2013 or 2014.

Which Knolly do you have?

collection is probably autocorrect for chilcotin, which is what iride has.
