Keep as is please. Allows it to be ridden twice in one day but different feel.

At the chapter meeting last night we discussed making the Fly'n Squirrel trail directional and changing every day like the Tortoise Trail is. We took a preliminary vote and the overwhelming majority wantied to keep the Fly'n Squirrel as a bi-directional trail.

There were a couple of good reasons brought up to keep the trail bi-directional as is.

- Even if the trail is posted as directional there will most likely be those that don't abide by the proper direction whether intentional or unintentional and may cause a false sense of security where riders will let their guard down and not be looking for oncomiing riders.

- If the trail is only one way on a given day then it would limit the variety of the trail riding experience which is one of the popular features of riding Chicopee - you can mix and match the different trails to make your own riding experience.

It was decided at the meeting to put up signage at a few spots on the trail to remind riders to be aware of oncoming traffic.

If anyone wants to discuss this further please feel free to attend the next chapter meeting on February 2nd at 6:30 PM at the El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant in Oakwood.

Support your decision.

Plus the Chico trails are as good as it gets.

Thanks for keeping it as is. I love the options that trail gives for changing things up out there. Making it directional would have really limited that.
