It's really sad, that of the 3 forms of travel for these trails, the farther your can travel per visit, the less amount of trails availible. Look at that map very few connector trails, and most hikers a 7 mile hike is an all day event. I want to get more involved, I have a strong back, and I will go to some meetings, but I am not good at the diplomecy stuff. I'm sorry but I am not willing to go waste my time on 2.5 mile of trail, that is useless to us. Is there any thing wrong with having horsies, bikes and hikers on the same trail? Really, can hikers not see, hear us coming, their out in the woods, be aware of your surroundings. Can Equestrian not train there horse's to not freak out with other trail users. I have seen the police horse's in Atlanta, so it can be done. Also do they not realize that MTB'rs dont mind paying for trail use or volunteering trail work, so we could help keep the park from being a parasite finacially.
