out of town rider looking for suggestions

Hey.. I'm coming to the area, Martinez, GA, from South Florida. I've been told to check out FATS. I know nothing about the area and am looking for any suggestions. I'm more of an endurance rider but can do some technical (nothing crazy). All we have is technical down here so I'm looking forward to long distance riding fun. Saturday will most likely be the day I'm riding... any group rides going out? Thanks!

FATS near Augusta is a must. Several trails to choose from, all are fun, many miles of great action, and some places easy to get out of control. The local SORBA chapter CSRA built and maintains the trails. Go to their website http://www.sorbacsra.org/ for info and maybe you can hhok up with someone over there, many are very happy to show visitors the way around. It's not technical, it is a whole bunch of fun. Pretty easy to figure out and well marked.
