or does riding through crispy leaf covered trails annoy anyone else? It was the only non enjoyable part of today's ride.

It is bad enough that they are loud as hell riding through but just when I get sort of used to that a single leaf will
lodge itself between the fork or frame and my tires. For some reason that sound just drives me nuts. If I can not get it out while riding I have stop to remove it.

Maybe I need to take the MP3 player when I ride this time of year. Or I could just go clear away the damn things.

I love it. I don't have to use playing cards in my spokes during fall

I love it too! Except for when that rock jump out underneath and slams me to the ground, only to leave me on the ground crying like a little ... I digress. This is my absolute favorite time of year to ride. Not hot as balls and oh that low angle sunrays. Pure bliss!

F'in trees! We wouldn't have these issues if we just clear cut the trails and paved it all...and put a starbucks mid way through dwelling.

I love riding this time of year, but I love the fall. The leaves make the same old trail a little more suspenseful. Just where is that rock?

Complaining? About any aspect of mountain biking? Dude... come on. With the rain, I've ridden off road about 3 times in 2 months. I rode BC this am and it was amazing. I've logged a couple thousand miles on the road bike this fall and it was killing me - I wanted to ride my mountain bike (that Hitler video has played in my head 100 times).

So, no - crunchy leave aren't annoying. Torrential rain is annoying. Freeze/thaw is annoying. Any day on the trail is a good day.

I absolutely cannot stand the sound of leaves stuck in my frame....but I see it as a challenge to try to remove the offending leaf without stopping. Kicks the difficulty level up a notch.

I love riding in leaves.... it makes all trails a whole lot more sketchy!

I love riding through all those crispy, crunchy leaves. Riding this time of year is the best! Also makes for some fun when you hit those "hidden" rocks underneath. LOL!

Modern pharmaceuticals can do wonders for that problem. Leaves, weather and seasons are all mountain biking.

+1

I listen carefully to my MTB as noises usually mean something is about to fail.
