into a festival weekend at the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, NC! The
Board of Directors, the Regional Leadership Advisory Council, the Subaru-IMBA
Trail Care Crew, and mountain bikers of all stripes will converge for a weekend
of mountain biking, including trail education, riding, a party, and more
riding!

Bills Target Leading National Role For Alabama Recreational Trails

Mountain Biking in Huntsville, ALCompanion bills filed in
the Alabama legislature (SB 258, HB 376) would create an Alabama Trails
Commission to foster widespread development and link-up of green and blue-water
trails throughout the state. Focused on health, family, economic and tourism
incentives, the bills call for the proposed commission to coordinate local
needs, goals and leadership in trail design, operation, build-up and
maintenance for hiking, biking, running, horseback riding, motorized
off-highway vehicles, and water sport.

Taylor Randahl Memorial Mountain Bike Trails Get the Green Light

SORBA Woodstock received approval from the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACOE) to start building the Taylor Randahl Memorial Trails at Olde Rope Mill Park in Woodstock, GA. The City of Woodstock, working with the Greenprints Alliance, has secured $150,000 in funding to build the proposed 10-mile trail system.
