USFS Volunteers on Hiatus During Shutdown

Dear Trail Volunteers,

Unfortunately, all of the great work done by our volunteers must cease today as part of the government shutdown.  The VIF volunteer agreements that allow you to work on the National Forest are not in effect during the shutdown.  I know many of you are very committed and want to keep volunteering.  Please continue to keep planning and be ready to get back to work when the shutdown is over.

Thanks for all you do and your patience.

Please share this with other trail volunteers.
