Large, Black Turner Highline - buy tickets here: http://www.t2bikes.com/product_info.php?products_id=249
The Turner Highline was introduced in 2006, refined in 2007, and fully dialed in 2008. It's overbuilt (if you can say that about any bike with North Shore purposes in mind) with a 1.5" oversized headtube and a massive top tube and downtube. Weighing in at just 10.5 lbs, it's now designed to withstand the 20 ft drops, rip downhills, and leap "Capital T" in a single bound -- everything that defines extreme freeriding, yet still climb.
Turner uses a custom Fox DHX 5.0 coil shock, to provide the frame's 7.1"of plush travel. Turner also refined the geometry in 2007 (shorter top tube, improved standover, and slightly increased head angle), and now the Highline's versatility is off the charts. The main pivots features full complement needle (roller) bearings and the rest use Turner's renowned bushing system to ensure a smooth, stable suspension stroke.
Small, Red Ventana El Fuego - buy tickets here: http://www.t2bikes.com/product_info.php?products_id=250
El Fuego is Ventana's high profile racing frame all primed and ready to smoke the competition. The Ventana El Fuego takes super light, full suspension racing design to the next level. The El Fuego is just as laterally stiff as ever but with rear travel of 3.5 inches via a Fox Float R. Ventanta El Fuego is engineered to be lightweight without compromising its high performance suspension, El Fuego transfers power smoothly and efficiently with every pedal-stroke, even under extreme terrain conditions. And El Fuego's superior performance on the trails is matched by the beauty and craftsmanship of its frame design.
Please consider buying a ticket for these frames even if they might not be your size or flavor. Both frames have trade-in value with the mfg and either would bring a fair amount in the SORBA classifieds! So please consider buying a ticket to benefit PAS.
The raffle will be held on May 17th, 2008 at the Turner and Ventana owners gathering in the Brevard, NC area. You do not have to be present to win but shipping cost will be the responsibility of the winners.
