|Saturday, June 7th is National Trails Day, an event sponsored by the American Hiking Society, inspires the public and trail enthusiasts nationwide to seek out their favorite trails to discover, learn about, and celebrate trails while participating in educational exhibits, trail dedications, gear demonstrations, instructional workshops and trail work projects.
NTD also provides an opportunity to thank volunteers, land managing agencies, and outdoor-minded businesses for their support in developing and maintaining trails.
IMBA-SORBA is all about trails, and chapters all over the region are hosting events. Work parties, rides, and festivals are some of the ways that our members will spend NTD.
Join in the fun, and participate in one of the following NTD IMBA-SORBA events.
|Chattanooga Area Singletrack Alliance

Northwest Georgia SORBA
Pisgah Area SORBA
Parking for this event will be along 479 as well as the two parking areas located in Bent Creek. From these locations, we will provide a shuttle service up Laurel Branch Rd to the bottom of Greens Lick. This is where the registration will take place for those volunteers that did not pre-register on Friday night. You must be registered to work on the trail.
June 8th, 10 AM. Ride the Trails Day: PAS will lead group ride from every trailhead in the greater Pisgah Area. Rides will consist of all level riders; no one will be left out. Ride locations and start times will be available on Saturday at the registration tent as well as the social gathering that night. So sign up for one of these rides and have a great day.
