Please join Northwest Georgia SORBA and the United States Forest Service—Conasauga Ranger District for the Grand Opening of the Dry Creek Trail System on Saturday, June 25, starting at 11:00 a.m. The trail system provides 25 miles of shared-use trails for equestrians, mountain bikers and hikers. The multiple loop system also connects to the Pinhoti Trail on Johns Mountain and near the East Armuchee trailhead.
The event begins with short speeches from the Forest Service, the Georgia Pinhoti Trail Association (GPTA), NWGASORBA, and the Back Country Horsemen of North West Georgia (BCHNWG), followed by lunch and separate guided rides for equestrians and mountain bicyclists. The Cherokee County Saddle Club is generously providing and serving the food and soft drinks for the ceremony.
