This year our focus will be on building modern mountain bike trails and developing the community to support them.

Wednesday, March 16  

  • Trail Crew Leader Training Course – Instructor, Walt Bready. The Trail Crew Leader training course is a two‐day course for any volunteer that wants to learn the basic technical trail work skills to lead a crew. It will cover natural surface trail design, construction, maintenance and crew leader training. The focus is long term sustainability that can reduce overall maintenance needs and user impacts on natural resources. Trail crew leaders should have a strong commitment to building sustainable trails and get satisfaction out of helping others have a good time while doing good work.

Thursday, March 17

  • Trail Crew Leader Training Course – 2nd day

  • Early Summit Registration 5p – 7:30p and Social – 5p – 9p. Sponsored by the Florida Bicycle Association.  Holiday Inn Tallahassee, 2003 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallhassee, FL 3230. (Dinner on your own)

Friday, March 18.   Land Manager Day – Advocates and land managers are welcome to attend a series of sessions geared for the land manager.  Coffee reception and lunch are included.

  • Sessions will focus on modern mountain bike trail development, construction and creating the culture of a community to support the trail network.

Each chapter (the president or proxy) and SORBA Executive Committee member receives ONE reduced rate registration for the Full Summit Friday ($75) 5/18 & Saturday 5/19 (includes coffee receptions & lunches) or $50 for Single Day (Saturday).
