17 newly trained Chainsaw Sawyer B volunteers were added to SORBA chapters in June, 2022. The clinic, hosted by SORBA, with the support of USFS was held in the Pisgah National Forest at the Cradle of Forestry, just outside of Brevard, NC. Most of these sawyers will be working in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest where NE GA SORBA, NW GA SORBA and NGMBA Chapters help keep the trails clear of downed trees on popular mountain bike trails. SORBA also had the opportunity to train 2 USFS personnel and 1 for SORBA Jax.

Special thanks to all the SORBA volunteers that took the clinic and Gennie Dasinger of NW GA SORBA who volunteered to help with the lunches.
