This past Saturday, SORBA Chattanooga hosted its Pride Ride, a group ride open to everyone! With over 50 people participating, we can say this ride was a big success! We are excited to see communities embrace our new mission where we believe everyone should have access to the social, physical, and mental benefits that mountain biking provides. Bikes can change the world and we are here to share it. SORBA Chattanooga kindly shared these words about their event.

“This month and every month we want to celebrate all humans on bikes! Huge thanks to everyone who came out for our Pride Ride on Monday! We are blown away by the support we received from the cycling community to show up and show out for the LGBTQ+ community.

We are excited to announce we are donating the proceeds from this pint night to the Seed Theatre to help with their mission to create safe spaces for queer folks to gather and express themselves without fear of judgement, discrimination or violence.

Big thanks to Wanderlinger Brewing Company for hosting us and giving back. Thanks to White Oak Bicycle Co-op, Pedego Electric Bikes Chattanooga, Cycle East and Outshine Adventures for leading rides.

And thanks to Terrex 5.10 for donating a gift certificate for a free pair of mountain bike shoes for us to giveaway! We randomly selected a winner from the list of attendees and notified the winner by email. Thanks again for your support and we look forward to more events like this that celebrate all humans on bikes!”
